Running to the tree and back, 3 times

Throwing balls to each other, tennis balls, with gloves on. Split team in two, kids throwing to each other.
Stations (Groups rotate halfway through block)
Baseball Basics

Baseball basics, introduction to the field, positions, coach mom helping in the dugout, sitting out 1 inning each game, on-deck, etc.
Lying Down Wiffle Catch
4:30-4:45
15 Minutes


Hand-eye coordination with little wiffle balls. Light toss to the player from 5 feet away, get them to watch the ball into the glove and then SQUEEZE the glove. Removing fear from the ball. Upgrade to a tennis ball 2nd, then the soft baseballs 3rd.
Hitting Grip and Stance
4:45-5:00
15 Minutes


Hitting, grip and feet correct off the tee. Use tennis balls so other players can field balls.
