Notes:
Talk to parents while kids run - emphasize the season goals of the kids learning (not winning) and parent involvement. All parents are welcome to participate. The more parents that help out, the more active the kids will be.
Notes:
Teach 4 count exercises. Jumping jacks, Peck-fly-overhead, arm circles, squats, knee blocks, push ups, sit-ups
Notes:
Stand in circle - Say your name and throw ball to new kid. After 5 mins, say name of kid and throw ball to them.
Notes:
Standard Catch to warm up for first practice. Future practices will be more directed at improvement.

Stations (Groups rotate halfway through block)

Fielding Practice - Hit ball to player and have them throw to side (first base).

Batting Practice - Batting off tee into net for 5 mins. Then 5 mins of batting wiffle balls soft toss.

Pop Flies - Depending on kids comfort and ability at 10ft: Start with wiffle ball for hand/eye coord, then move onto tennis ball, then hard ball.
Notes:
Positive Mental Attitude - Explain how you need to be positive and find the positive in what each player does. Use words like nice try, good swing, you almost got it, way to get in front of it.
