Set up Tees; Stride-load to most athletic position. Balanced start/balanced finish. End of bat facing catcher (loaded position), hand inside the ball/bat travels through the hitting zone with hands inside of the ball; palm up /palm down. Focus on keeping the batter shoulder and head balance throughout the swing, reducing the back shoulder and head dropping back/down during swing; "Chin to Shoulders" throughout the swing. Place tee in high/low position as well as inside/out, encourage players to hit ball to the appropriate part of the field relative to where the ball is pitched

Group#1 2 cages; Live Hitting. Start with 2 bunts working on proper bunting position of bat angle and body position. Encourage maintaining proper bat position and movement of knee (up/down). Encourage players to bunt to the 3rd and 1st base line. 5-7 live pitchers encouraging swinging at strikes, not balls. encourage player to swing without fear and HIT THE BALL!

How To Coach: Pitching #3
stopwatch 6:25-6:50 timer 25 Minutes
Station #2 Coach = Brian. First 5 min Recap position "0" stance and "1" balance and position "2" power and "3" Finish (point,click,shield,sword). Last 20min focus on blending all 4 positions into smooth pitching motion. Position 0 and 1 = LOAD and position 2 and 3= EXPLODE. Place "duck tape" line in front of pitchers mound to provide reference of where the front foot needs to plant, encouraging extension of front leg and placement of foot alignment towards target. Encourage pitcher to throw freely without fear and throw hard. Lastly introduce "wind up" position
